End-of-term horoscope
Emer Naylor Afram consults the cosmos to guide you through the rest of Lent
Aries (March 21st - April 19th)
As Mercury begins to emerge from retrograde, this marks a last push for Aries. Expect pieces to fall into place, a sense of completion and overdue supervision essays to seem less daunting. Harness this energy and use it to persevere until Easter break!
Taurus (April 20th - May 20th)
Remain grounded in yourself, your principles and your relationships. Take the time to be pensive, but also consider how your inner and outer worlds coincide. Have coffee with a friend you haven’t seen in a while and let this revived dialogue mediate these forces.
Gemini (May 21st - June 20th)
These past weeks have been hectic, but a period of calm is upon us. The temptation to overexert yourself is huge but remain confident that you are doing enough and, rest assured, you do not need to sign up to another society.
Cancer (June 21st - July 22nd)
As a fellow water sign, the Mercury retrograde in Pisces can be a source of luck and inspiration. Whilst life may feel increasingly introspective, this introspection can fuel grand future schemes, bringing precision to big decisions. Don’t be afraid to try something new, or end something from the past, as you move with luck on your side.
Leo (July 23rd - August 22nd)
As Venus enters Aries, matters of the heart and desire are amplified. As an outward facing and direct sign, Leo may find themselves entering into new relationships or life commitments. Proceed confidently, but with care, as impulse can obscure reason.
Virgo (August 23rd - September 22nd)
Following the total lunar eclipse in Virgo, now is the time to start something new and discard past limitations! Go to that social, sign up for that play, make a bucket list for Easter – you are limitless and everything is weighted in your favour!
Libra (September 23rd - October 22nd)
As the sign of balance, you are entering into a needed period of equilibrium. Consider the balances in your life – now is the time to reflect and edit if you’re unsure. The lunar eclipse brings new beginnings, but also clarity, allowing for self-reflection and advancement.
Scorpio (October 23rd - November 21st)
This is a time for creation. Supported by Pisces season, the natural creativity and flow of water signs surface, evident in everything you do. Innovation in art, in music, in work, in conversations; previous moulds break as life flows through you freely.
Sagittarius (November 22nd - December 21st)
As a fire sign, the cooling atmosphere of water season may appear to dull the spark of Sagittarius. Yet, this calm period provides a well-needed break and a chance to revisit the past: go to that society you’ve been ghosting and do that overdue reading, the fire will return!
Capricorn (December 22nd - January 19th)
Strong-headed Capricorn enters a period of nostalgia. Be more aware of your surroundings and situations, as the opportunity to reconcile past and present is upon us. This nostalgia is also powerful in your creative outlets, as the chance to commune with the past brings inspiration and peace.
Aquarius (January 20th - February 18th)
As a naturally independent thinker, Venus entering Aries pushes this to its limit with a new fire and energy. Expect your thoughts to be less malleable and conventional and be prepared for your point of view to change. This could make for excellent debate in supervisions, or equally potential arguments.
Pisces (February 19th - March 20th)
As we are in Pisces season, expect an amplification in everything you do. You are at your peak emotionally and spiritually – ride this peak in all aspects of life. Yet beware of karmic forces and overwork; this is your season, use it wisely and luck will flow in abundance.
