Don't let holiday FOMO get you down – start planning for next summer! Alice Frecheville with permission for Varsity

Where should you really have spent your summer? After all, not all of us are cut out for two sweaty months slumming it interrailing, nor two glossy weeks trapped in a swanky five-star all-inclusive resort, anywhere in the world. To determine the destination that best suits you, travel through these quiz questions and discover your next summer adventure.

What’s your drink of choice?

A: A MOTH tinned cocktail, preferably the margarita or espresso martini, because £3.75 (courtesy of nectar points) is an absolute steal compared to bar prices nowadays!

If you got mostly A’s: The Edinburgh Fringe

You’re a huge theatre kid at heart. The perfect summer holiday for you is the Edinburgh Fringe where you can convince yourself you will be the next Phoebe Waller-Bridge and network outside of Cambridge Theatre to your thesp hearts’ content.

If you got mostly B’s: Overseas internship

You are always on the grind, 24/7, so mixing travel with work is the ideal solution for you, whether that’s spreadsheets in Singapore or PowerPoints in Portugal. Best of luck landing one though… remember that rejection builds character.

Which West End show are you?

You’re deep down quite basic though you convince yourself you aren’t. Infinity pools and shopping malls are your natural habitat. I won’t say anymore.

If you got mostly D’s: Ibiza/Zante/Ayia Napa

You’re a 365 party person and the dire state of Cambridge’s nightlife is draining you. You need somewhere completely hedonistic and wild, so where better to summer than one of these infamous party islands?

If you got mostly E’s: The French Riviera Monaco

You certainly have a taste for the finer things in life, so the exclusivity and classic elegance of the French Riviera is the choicest destination for a luxurious summer escape.
