EXCLUSIVE: Selwyn Snowball reveals headliner
The main act for this year’s Snowball has now been announced

Tinchy Stryder will headline Selwyn Snowball this winter, it has been announced.
The chart-topping rapper is best-known for hit singles ‘Number 1’ and ‘Never Leave You’, his various collaborations with Calvin Harris, Tinie Tempah, Example (and the Chuckle Brothers…) and even performed on Glastonbury’s main stage in 2010.
But from the looks of it, Selwyn shouldn’t be much of a step down from Glastonbury. Selwyn Snowball is Cambridge’s only annual winter ball, and hosts around 800 guests.
The theme this year is ‘Aurora: A Phenomenal Journey’. The college will be magically transformed to represent various natural phenomena like the Northern Lights, supernovas and volcanoes.

If you really don’t understand why Tinchy Stryder was the committee's number one choice, then not to worry, as supporting are Delamere, an indie band who have regularly featured on Made in Chelsea and BBC Introducing.
If you haven’t got a ticket yet then unfortunately you’re out of luck. This year the ball sold out in under two hours - a record for the ball, whilst VIP tickets sold out in under 90 seconds.
