“Rather than choosing a specific style, I like to have fun when I get dressed. I seek to surprise myself by experimenting with combinations of new and old: simple pieces, vintage silhouettes, eclectic accessories. My go-to is a silk neck scarf, and here I built my outfit around the colours of the neckerchief with a pair of vintage boots, green suede trousers and a burgundy trench coat that makes me feel like some sort of color-blocked cartoon supervillain.”

“When I dress I try to say as much as I can with as little as possible, using layering and detailing to enhance the presence of colour, which is why the Wrangler overshirt is perfect to match with the red text on my tee. The sleeveless fleece puts more emphasis on the shirt and it’s comfy as hell. I use my white Asics and black jeans as a base to build from and change up my tees. The one I’m wearing is from independent brand Cult Gloria. I love the look of tucked-in tees with a motif, especially with a jacket.”

“I found this snaky little gold bracelet in one of the vibrant, sticky markets of Rajasthan. Its red sun face reminds me of the fierce heat of the air and the spices, and of the sunrise I had watched that morning from the top of a mountain surrounded by wide-eyed monkeys. As England sinks into mist and greyness, wearing this keeps a splash of Indian colour close, a small piece of perspective from the whirl of life beyond our college walls.”
