What is Switchboard?
Switchboard is Varsity’s flagship podcast. This term, Switchboard connects you to an eclectic array of voices & sounds, from the Cambridge community and beyond.

In Episode 2 (May 1st), we discuss the importance of colleges working with Cambridge Council to house those in need during the pandemic and the problematic nature of fundraising attempts for the NHS. We hear how one student society is keeping community spirit at this time and why journaling has taken on a new significance for one student. We hear from Stella Swain, CUSU Welfare & Rights Officer and Matt Mahmoudi, one of three PhD students who co-authored a motion encouraging colleges to make their vacant accommodation available to the council.
