Apply to be Editor of Varsity this Michaelmas
Applications are open until the 8th June
Applications to be Varsity’s Editor for Michaelmas Term are now open.
This is your opportunity to take the lead at Cambridge’s only independent student newspaper, shedding light on the student experience and keeping the Cambridge community informed as the new academic year unfolds.
You will manage a large team producing online content throughout the term as well as organising Varsity's fortnightly print copy.
Applications can be made solo or as a pair. No previous experience at Varsity is required for the role. All students who are passionate about journalism, and have creative direction for the paper's print editions, are encouraged to apply.
More instructions for how to apply can be found here (PDF download). The deadline for applications is 12pm on Wednesday 8th June. Interviews will be held on the morning of Tuesday 14th June.
Please direct any enquiries about the application to the Varsity Society President, Emaan Ullah, at president@varsity.co.uk. If you have questions about the role, please direct them to the Easter Editors, Lotte Brundle and Juliette Guéron-Gabrielle at editor@varsity.co.uk.
Applications for other roles on the Michaelmas team will open once the Editor has been appointed.
