Apply to be Editor of Varsity in Easter Term
Applications for the role are open until March 10th
Applications to be Varsity’s Editor for Easter Term are now open.
This is your opportunity to take the lead at Cambridge’s only independent student newspaper, shedding light on the student experience and keeping the Cambridge community informed at a time of change and uncertainty.
You will manage a team producing online content throughout the term and be responsible for producing our Varsity Review & Yearbook – a circa 60 page A4 glossy magazine.
Applications can be made solo or as a pair. No previous experience at Varsity is required for the role. All students who are passionate about journalism, and have creative direction for the new magazine, coupled with an eye for layout and design are encouraged to apply.
More instructions for how to apply can be found here (PDF download). The deadline for applications is midday, Wednesday 10th March 2021.
Please direct any enquiries about the application to Jess Ma, the VarSoc President at president@varsity.co.uk. If you have questions about the role, please direct them to Ma or to the Lent Editors, Gaby Vides and Georgina Buckle at editor@varsity.co.uk.
Applications for other roles on the Easter team will open once the Editor has been appointed.
