Which coffee are you?
Ellie Buckley offers her conclusive caffeine quiz to determine what your coffee order should be this Easter

Easter term is slowly creeping up on us, and with it comes late night study sessions, long days, and the need for coffee to keep us going. Whether you’re an avid coffee drinker or somebody who hardly indulges, it can be helpful to have a pick-me-up when the days start to drag, and the trek to the end of exams feels hundreds of miles away. But what coffee should you integrate into your Easter term routine to maximise productivity? Read on to discover what caffeinated beverage you should be sipping on this term.
When do you study most effectively?
A) I’m up early in the library – the morning is when I thrive
B) I only start getting locked in at 10pm!
C) I’m a regular 9-to-5-er
D) There’s no regularity to my schedule, I study when I realise I actually need to do some work!
How much sleep do you get?
A) Less than five hours – the grind never stops
B: Between eight and ten hours – I go to sleep late and wake up late
C) Seven to nine hours, just like the doctor ordered!
D) Sometimes I’ll sleep for an hour, other times ten – it’s unpredictable
What do you listen to when studying?
A) Classical or instrumental music
B) Anything dance
C) I don’t believe anybody can study effectively with music on
D) Whatever my playlist shuffles to
What’s your go-to breakfast?
A) I don’t eat breakfast, instead I digest my course’s content
B) My wake-up time aligns with my evening meal!
C) Something to keep me fuelled for the day, like porridge or cereal
D) Sometimes I eat nothing, but some days I eat a three course breakfast!
Your ideal mug is...
A) A takeaway mug – it means I can be on the go!
B) A big, deep, round mug – the more I can have in the mug the better
C) One that has a motivational message on – it encourages me to stay locked in
D) One that is unique in shape, size or design. I like drinking from a mug to be an experience
If you picked mostly A: Flat white
Reliable and consistent, a flat white pairs perfectly with your dedication to rigorous studying during exam term. Consisting of the perfect amount of caffeine to keep you moving, the efficient and compact size of a takeaway flat white means it can be brought anywhere with ease, effortlessly becoming your dream study buddy.
If you picked mostly B: Espresso
With your poor sleep and study schedule, the espresso will convert your lifestyle. Even though you sleep all day and study all night (this is something coffee cannot unfortunately fix, that’s on you), espresso will help you persevere through the night. Its strong, sharp taste will give you that buzz to encourage you to match up to the hours of studying you could have accomplished, had you adopted a 9-5 routine.
If you picked mostly C: Latte
Although you most definitely boast that you never drink coffee, the latte provides a sweet coffee experience that can only enhance your regular, and arguably mundane, routine. Lattes are versatile and customisable with the additions of syrups, providing a feeling of excitement in every sip which contrasts the predictability of your routine.
If you picked mostly D: Affogato
Your inability to have a regular day-to-day schedule pairs perfectly with the bold espresso flavour contracted with the sweetness of gelato, by creating a satisfying contrast that is slightly different in every serving! It’s hot and cold dichotomy reflects your commitment (or lack of) to studying, allowing the affogato to be by your side in a studying slump or studying spree. And, of course, the act of enjoying an affogato is an experience in itself, and with your approach to living life without a routine, why not give it a go?
