King’s College to host drop-in vaccination centre on Sunday
The College will host a pop-up clinic administering first doses of the vaccine
King’s College will host a walk-in Covid-19 vaccination centre on Sunday (04/07). This is intended to provide first-dose jabs for any over-18s yet to receive it.
In his email to all students on Wednesday, Vice-Chancellor Stephen Toope referenced this and other future pop-up vaccination centres, saying: “We strongly encourage those of you who remain in Cambridge to go and get your jabs.”
“There is clear evidence that vaccinations significantly reduce levels of infection, hospitalisation and death from COVID-19.”
It will also open for the same service on 17 and 18 July. This session will be open to all members of the public who have not yet had their first dose of the vaccine.
