Queen’s visit marks 800th anniversary
King's College played host to the Queen this lunchtime as she arrived in Cambridge for a formal visit. The Queen came accompanied by Prince Philip and was greeted by Cambridge Lord Mayor, University Vice-Chancellor Alison Richard and other dignitaries.
The Queen is here to meet academics and mark the 800th anniversary of the University. She will move from King's College to Senate House later in the afternoon.
