Review shows for Varsity this term!
Varsity is recruiting more reviewers for its Theatre section – whether you’re seasoned writer or first time reviewer, we want to hear from you!
This term, the Theatre section of our Vulture magazine is looking for more reviewers to bring additional vibrant and diverse perspectives, and ensure Varsity maintains its impressive standard and volume of reviews, covering the huge amount of student and non-student theatre going on in Cambridge. We want Vulture to capture the wide-ranging styles and genres of performance in Cambridge, and reflect the theatre scene well beyond just the ADC Theatre and the Corpus Playroom - if you want to help us, then apply to review! We're interested in both seasoned writers and newbies, all you need is a passion for theatre and a critical opinion!
Above all, we want to champion diverse perspectives and outlooks. So join us today, and help shape the cultural conversation in Cambridge.
To apply: Explain why you want to write Theatre reviews and detail any relevant experience (none required) (300 words maximum), and provide a brief critique of a recent review (200 words maximum).
Got any questions about the role? Pop an email to Theatre Editors Solal Bauer and Frances Arnold at theatre@varsity.co.uk.
Applications should be sent to theatre@varsity.co.uk and are being accepted on a rolling basis!
Don't hesitate to apply! We’re excited to receive your application.
