CUP encourages employees to vote for Sainsbury
Documents leaked to Varsity appear to show that the Cambridge University Press has encouraged its employees to vote for Lord Sainsbury as Chancellor of the University

The Cambridge University Press has encouraged its employees to vote for Lord Sainsbury in the Chancellor elections, documents seen by Varsity reveal.
The email informs members of the Senate House of the rules for voting, and then reminds voters that "the Council's nominee is Lord Sainsbury of Turville, who has been involved in the affairs of the University for a considerable period of time and who has been one of the largest single benefactors of recent years."

Nothing like this endorsement has been given to any other candidate, and the University is supposed to give no help or support to any particular candidate after the Council made their official nomination.
