EXCLUSIVE: Churchill Spring Ball headliner announced
It’s a ‘big’ announcement for the Spring Ball

Big Narstie will headline the 2017 Churchill Spring Ball, Varsity can exclusively reveal.
Already renowned in Cambridge from his recent appearances at Fez and the Strawberries and Creem festival, it seems that the award-winning grime artist just can’t stay away.
Big Narstie scored a top 10 hit in 2015, with the single ‘When the Baseline Drops’, a collaboration with Craig David. Shortly after his appearance at the Spring Ball, the pair will embark on a UK-wide tour.

He is famous for his debut EP, Big Narstie, which was the highest selling grime EP of 2013, and has since featured on dozens of records, including N-Dubz’s ‘N-Dubz vs N.A.A’ and Professor Green‘s ‘Before I Die Remix’.
Big Narstie also won the Urban Music Award for Best Grime Act two years in a row in 2012 and 2013, beating artists like Skepta, Lethal Bizzle and Dot Rotten.
Churchill’s theme for 2017 is ‘Mirage’. The Ball, which will take place on the 11th February, promises to be “a night of spectacle and wonder”, in which guests will “enter a world where nothing is as it seems”. Unlimited food and drink is all included in the ticket price, as well as night-long entertainment.
Tickets to the Ball, which hosts 900 people each year, are available for £85 until 2nd December, after which they will rise to £95. Queue jump is also available, for an additional £10 per ticket
