Tinie Tempah headlines Varsity Ski Trip 2015
Tinie Tempah, intergalactic marmots and superb stash: why VT2015 could be the best one yet

Oxbridge Varsity Trip have just announced their headline act for this year’s final night party: Tinie Tempah.
Birthed in 1921, Varsity Trip is not only the world’s oldest ski team event but also the largest student snow sports event in the world, with more than 3,000 people predicted to attend this year.
Rumours were flying on who would headline its 94th year, from Clean Bandit to Eminem to Taylor Swift.
But the committee have far outdone themselves with the signing of Tempah. The South London rapper is renowned for two number-one singles 'Pass Out' and 'Written in the Stars'. The more recent single ‘Not Letting Go’ featuring Jess Glynne jumped straight to number one earlier this year.

Expectations for Varsity Trip 2015 were raised to an astronomical level after the committee sent a small faux-furred toy marmot into space and filmed its entire voyage.
"Arnaud the Space Marmot" has since become a source of wonder, respect and mild confusion for the VT2015 spectators. Such a weird and wonderful event, coordinated by the Vice President Anthony Rubinstein, sets the pretense for what is likely to come in this year's Varsity Trip.
What with Tinie Tempah, an intergalactic marmot, snow already falling in Val Thorens, impeccable stash and Europe’s highest powder paint fight over 2,300m (yes, that is a thing), this year’s Varsity Trip is looking like it could be the best one yet.
Fasten your seatbelts and get ready for booking at 8am on Friday morning: this writer predicts a rapid sell-out.
