Best of the Web: Week 5
Find out why white noise, Icelandic pop and the realist philosophy of modeling have made this week’s list

WEEK 5 HPS SPECIAL
In HPS, Week 5 is celebrated by setting Part IIIs a take home exam. Let’s see how this affected my internet viewing habits.
1. White noise
The wonders of the take home exam has meant I have spent a good twenty hours a day in the hallowed ground of the damned that is Pembroke computer room trying to ensure I kept just under the lethal amount of Relentless. Despite my constant passive aggressive murmurs of ‘I’ve got an exam’ and ‘I’m a fourth year’, other people sadly insisted on talking and engaging in social lives during this 168 hour period. Luckily, I found this:
Concentration bliss. Having listened to the whole track more than once, I can confirm that there is no paranormal activity hidden within. Just a note of caution: when you unplug, the real world can be quite disconcerting.
2. Eurovision watch part 4: Iceland
Luckily, the rest of Europe has gone on and done interesting things when I have not, and the Eurovision juggernaut sails on. Denmark’s baby brother – a Danish expression meaning ‘former colony’ – has decided that Pollapönk will fly the flag in Copenhagen with their song Enga fordóma, meaning ‘no prejudices’. Those with a keen eye might wonder whether the colourful costumes are making a subtle political point. However, detailed analysis is not needed. This is a very special thing.
3. OMG the video will just change you. Whatever I was expecting went and put my jaw of the floor. You have to see it.
Calm down, headline writers at Virulnova, calm down now.
If you ever wondered who’d be the first to help if you if you fell out of a plane, take a look at this.
If you have genuinely ever wondered what would happen if you fell out of a plane and the answer hasn't come easily to you, perhaps consider avoiding aircraft, for your own safety.
4. Valentines’ day: Daily Mail update

Meanwhile...

Well done her.
5. Cats of the week: Sochi strikes again.
There are fears in Sochi tonight that healthy competition between athlete is turning into aggression.
Luckily for most, it’s still about the sport.
And finally:
Find out how gay you are here.
