Get Down Tonight
…to revision. Work hard, Play(list) harder.
I'd bet that's not quite what KC & the Sunshine Band had in mind...
This is a general revision playlist, with a little bit of everything for everyone. Maybe you can revise from this playlist alone, in which case— great—but if not, find the genre of song that you feel works best for you and either:
i) Create your own revision playlist based around a single genre (BPM, vocal style, volume, etc.) as fewer noticeable changes will less distracting, and thus facilitate concentration.
Or
ii) Try some more of the recommended, genre-specific playlists below.
I personally find that repetitive, non-vocal music is generally my main port of call (crack on Four Tet, Max Richter—job done), but we aren’t all the same; we have different moods, pace, and preferences. So crack on some tunes, crack some spines, and crack on with revision.
Cracking.

Try out some Max Richter for a subtle backwash of eclectic sounds and French art-film music.
Or some Four Tet or Lusine for (mostly) non-vocal remixes.
Minimalism is focussed revision perfection.
Kings of Convenience for more chilled revision/ reading.
Varsity will be releasing a playlist a week every Tuesday. Tune in next week for the next installment, and feel free to e-mail in with suggestions: listings@varsity.co.uk
