Industry legend Whoopi Goldberg was dressed in a stunning gown by Christian Siriano. In a bright teal, and decorated with purple and yellow flowers, the dress was belted at the waist and rested just off the shoulders.

Armie Hammer, star of Oscar-nominated film Call Me By Your Name, wore a red velvet tux by Giorgio Armani. Despite being ill just a few days before the awards ceremony, Hammer got suited and booted for the event, arriving alongside his wife, Elizabeth Chambers.

Film industry veteran, Nicole Kidman, is renowned for not only her acting career but also her red carpet style. This year, she took the the Oscars wearing a blue, strapless structural gown by Armani Privé, proving once again her timeless style.

While not nominated for an award this year, Sandra Bullock still grabbed attention at the Oscars in this halter-neck gown by Louis Vuitton. With black and gold sequins in an ombré pattern, and combined with bolt straight hair, Bullock’s red carpet look was sheer perfection.

Viola Davis’s shocking pink gown by Michael Kors was arguably one of the most eye-catching looks on the Oscars red-carpet. Contrasting beautifully against Davis’s skin, the look was completed with a matching clutch and elegant jewellery, bringing a splash of colour and energy to the carpet.
